多益金色證書近在咫尺

基隆高中雙語實驗班劉子宣同學，藉由繁星管道申請錄取臺北市立大學幼兒教育學系。她表示透過學校豐富的雙語課程與2位外師的訓練，子宣在高二的時候，多益測驗成績就取得845分，高三的大學學科能力測驗英聽取得A、英文取得頂標的好成績。

子宣回憶起她甫進入雙語班時，對於學習英文這個部分還沒有把握，對於沉浸式、多模態、ICT等密集的部定英語課程、多元選修課程、彈性學習時間的英語學習活動，一度有些難以招架新的英語學習方式，直到現在回過頭檢視這三年，很驕傲的覺得學校提供雙語班的課程地圖很豐富，諸如學校每年會辦理日本姊妹校課程交流活動、與澳洲奧斯丁灣學院的學生進行線上視訊文化交流活動以及擔任淡蘭古道導覽志工，與來自不同國家的人員進行古道文化的交流，增加國際視野。

子宣提到每學期學校都會安排教育場館的參訪，她自述印象中最深刻的是去到蘭陽博物館，參訪後做一份有關博物館的英語導覽簡報，整個英語力跟製作簡報的能力猛進，學校將實察與雙語結合，能讓她的學習有了目標；另一門實驗課程輕鬆英語基隆行，結合地方學，進行英語導覽介紹並說給姐妹校的外國學生聽，將英語做實質運用的溝通，加強了口說能力，新聞英文也加強她瀏覽各種英語新聞素材，單詞數增加、閱讀速度有了速度。

此外，高二時，子宣也特別感謝班導佩芬老師在彈性學習時間中規劃的微課程，設計一連串的多益測驗的衝刺課程，成功地在第一次多益考試就拿到845的成績。

三年學習過程中，讓子宣汲取豐富學習資源轉換成了大幅成長的力量，這一次在畢業前，子宣即將要再次挑戰多益檢定考試，她相信金色證書就近在咫尺。最後，子宣也特別感謝學校用心規畫雙語實驗班課程地圖，讓基中的孩子能接近夢想，感受並覺察自己的能力。

I’m Louisa from the bilingual class 308. Fortunately, I’ve successfully been admitted to the University of Taipei through the Star Program, one way of gaining college entrance in Taiwan. In the beginning, I wasn’t very happy to be in the bilingual class because I wasn’t used to the extremely extensive lessons. However, I learned many things gradually and went through various special lessons, like the online conferences with our Australian sister school, which was a wonderful experience for me. The rich and informative educational resources we got made us better at our English proficiency. I successfully got 845 points for the first time on the TOEIC test. I could have had the certificate of gold color if I had gotten higher scores by 15 points, so I extremely appreciate that our school gave us one more chance to try again on May 4. I’ll do my best to get the certificate of gold color. Keelung Senior gave me a lot of help, and I felt very grateful. I’m sure my choice was correct — I didn’t regret enrolling in the school.
